"One thing the academy taught me is that you don’t have to be perfect to make a huge, positive difference, just your very best.”

That's what Spotsylvania County clerk or court candidate Nick Ignacio's website says.

But according to NBC Washington, he's been barred from further distributing sample ballots, which the outlet says he fabricated and say that he's endorsed by both Republicans and Democrats. Ignacio, however, is not endorsed by either.

An emergency, temporary injunction was issued by a judge this week, halting Ignacio and his organization, Fredericksburg Virginia Patriots, from distributing the sample ballots through Election Day, NBC reports.

Daily Voice has reached out to Ignacio for comment.

Ignacio says his main goal is to "be the fastest concealed handgun permit process in Virginia."

Ignacio's website says he fell in love with the culture of Spotsylvania and later went on to join the local volunteer fire department. He says that changed his life. He said he got in shape and became an EMT.
